Real Estate Manager Central and Eastern Europe
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Manager Central and Eastern Europe to take responsibility for real estate management activities across the CEE region.
This role is ideal for a professional with strong knowledge of the commercial and logistics real estate market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term business relationships with developers, real estate brokers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
You will support logistics projects from the planning and calculation phase through to implementation, ensuring that real estate topics are managed effectively, legally, and in line with FIEGE standards.
Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- managing real estate-related activities across Central and Eastern Europe,
- supervising standards related to facility operations and technical maintenance,
- coordinating and overseeing utility purchasing standards,
- cooperating with the central Real Estate Development department,
- maintaining and developing internal and external relationships with developers and real estate brokers,
- supporting logistics projects from planning and calculation through to implementation from a real estate perspective,
- acquiring land and leasing logistics space,
- negotiating and concluding relevant real estate agreements,
- ensuring compliance with legal requirements related to real estate management.
Requirements
We are looking for a person who has:
- a master’s degree in law, architecture, economics or a related field,
- professional experience in real estate acquisition,
- extensive practical knowledge of the real estate market, preferably commercial or logistics real estate,
- knowledge of legal regulations and procedures related to real estate acquisition and management,
- strong negotiation skills,
- the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks,
- a goal-oriented mindset,
- high personal culture and professional communication skills,
- the ability to build effective relationships with business partners,
- very good knowledge of MS Office,
- English language skills at C1 level.
Nice to have
- experience in an international business environment,
- knowledge of the logistics real estate market in Central and Eastern Europe,
- experience in cooperation with developers, real estate brokers, funds or logistics operators,
- practical understanding of lease agreements, land acquisition and investment processes.
